ABOUT
Julia Smith is an actor, writer, producer, and voice artist driven by a love of community, atmosphere, and emotional truth. Her work lives at the intersection of intimacy and imagination, often blending dark humor, psychological tension, and quiet humanity. Whether on screen, on the page, or behind the microphone, Julia is drawn to characters who feel deeply, think sharply, and linger with an audience long after the final moment.
As a performer and creator, Julia is passionate about making her own work; writing and producing original screenplays and short films while continuing to build a dynamic acting career. She is especially interested in stories centered on women, intuition, identity, and the unseen forces that shape our choices. Her creative voice is cinematic, slightly off-kilter, and emotionally grounded, with a deep respect for both craft and curiosity.
In addition to film and television, Julia works as a voice artist, bringing warmth, clarity, and character to commercial and narrative projects. She believes storytelling should feel personal, even when it’s fantastical, and approaches each project with intention, discipline, and play. Above all, Julia is committed to building a sustainable, fulfilling creative life rooted in honesty, collaboration, and, honoring her younger self.
In addition to her passion for the arts, Julia loves to spend her time cooking, traveling, camping and strength training. She is also a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is a meditation instructor.
